day 18

everything the same as far as diet. getting tired of juicing and cleaning, juicing , cleaning, ect... have dropped weight up till 5 days ago. I have stopped losing right at 147 pounds. today was the first day i cheated .... 1 graham cracker, 2 bites of grilled cheese. that is bad, i know. I think I am discouraged with the lack of weight I have lost the past week. We'll see how the weekend goes.

Day 7- Juice Fast

Wow! Big difference today! I have been fine with the whole emotion and energy and discipline, but today is just the pits! I have not changed anything but my attitude stinks! It's the toxic ugly head rearing and fighting me, I know it. I am emotional, moody, angry, frustrated and just plain ol' tired of this. I know this is just a phase but I pray to God that He gets me through this one quick before I give up! I need to be fed (not food), and I hate feeling like that! I want to motivate others and reflect a spirit of trust and discipline. Going to God.

Breakfast: veggie juice
snack: veggie juice and a 1/2 cup of watermelon juice
Lunch: veggie juice
snack: vegie juice
dinner: veggie juice

Day 5- Juice Fast

Well, I just finished day five. 5 whole days behind me! Can I do this 6 more times? 30 day juice fast might be a bit much. I am actually getting along o.k. I can handle the hunger pangs fine now. I get hungry often but can beat the pain. I had gotten a headache for a very short time today but am glad to say that I have not had a bad headache in over a week now! That is huge! I am breaking out now on my face. Painful pimples. I also was able to sweat in the zumba class this morning. That felt good. I was a bit tired in it but I actually kept up and was not too weak. Tomorrow we will be going fishing at the beach on the cape. I juiced for almost 2 hours tonight and have a huge jug for tomorrow. Today I hardly drank juice. Not good

Breakfast: 1/4 watermolon, 1/2 pineapple, 1 apple
snack: bottle of apple juice
lunch: water
snack: water
dinner: same as breakfast
snack: 1 glass of veggie juice (carrots, apples, celery, beet leaves, romaine lettuce, onion, zucchini, squash, corn) 1 jug of this equals- 12 carrots, 3 apples, 4 beet leaves, 6 lettuce leaves, 1/4 of a red onion, 1 zucchini, 1 squash, 6 ears of corn) o.k. in taste!!!

Oh yes! I fogot to mention, I did my first salt flush and my first enema yesterday (day 4). The salt flush was amazing! I bought the pink salt like I was supposed to with the acid PH water (reverse osmosis). Wow! That rocked my colon, stomach, interstine world! Took a toal of about 40 minutes from start to finish. I felt great afterwards! The following morning I did the enema. That, however, was the pits. I got a disposable store bought saline enema kit and after the I took the enema, I could only hold it in for a minute, I rushed to the bathroom and it came pretty fast. Nothing but clear foggy fluid. Guess the salt cleanse the night before was pretty productive!! THEN>>>>>> oh my...pain!!!! My colin was gergling and contracting like i needed to go diahrea. I could not halp but sit on the toilet and push!!! I pushed like I needed to go BAD! But, nothing else came out. Nothing but 3 HUGE, swollen hemhroids! OUCH! They were as bad as the ones I got pushing Ava and Evie out when I gave birth. They have shrunk since then but I thought I'd be on my back in bed all day. After an hour I felt a bit better. Think I will wait to do the enema again in about a week or so. Will stick with that salt cleanse instead.

Day 2 Juice Fast

Today was a BIG day. Shopped all day with mom. Had two juice servings before 11am. Then was out and about and had nothing else but water and a 2 oz. shot of wheat grass at Planet Smoothie. It tasted just like grass. I actually liked it and it was very refreshing. I was really dragging from 2pm till around 8pm. I came home at 530pm with all kids home, dinner to cook, house to clean, car to unpack, chaos!!! I could not cut the veggies up fast enough. Finally had my juice at about 7:00pm!!! I have not had any headaches since last Thursday, till tonight. BAM!!!! Right in the temples and above the eyes. Thinking it is stress related. Going to bed too late tonight, again. Will have to work on the bedtimes.

lunch: 2 oz. wheat grass

Dinner: 1 1/2 veggie juice servings (biggie mmm)

Last Prep day before the juice fast!

Yesterday was interesting, i did not post a blog. I went to bed early but made a mental list of what I ate. here goes:

Weight: 159
Breakfast: Apple, coffee decaf
snack: 2 plums
lunch: cucumber, 2 mushrooms
snack: 3 celery sticks, 2 whole carrots
dinner: 6 cherry tomoatoes, 3 mushrooms, olive oil, garlic, parsley, oragano, basil, 1 green pepper...all raw of course....
bedtime: sleepy time tea

Like I said, interesting... went to gym to work out, dropped off kids in child care and noticed that I forgot my tennis shoes. I still had flip flops on. I decided I could at least do abs class. That was nice. My feet and but up in the air with a big whole in my but crack of my pants. About the size of a quarter. Wouldn't have been so bad if I had black underwear on to blend with the black lycra pants. NOPE! Had tan underwear. TACKY! I had a hard time focusing and consentrating. I went to the last soccer game of Logan's (made half of the team goals....they only made a total of two of course, but none the less...he ROCKS) on the way home I went to the downtown Winter Garden Farmers Market and bought a stroller full of bags of produce. It was fun to watch peoples faces when they saw all the food. They would comment. I just agreed and didn't go into explanation. I am not ready for any suggestions, comments, raised eye brows, ect... I am just too overwhelmed and tired to explain the fast. Tired is the main thing. My attitude stinks right now.

BUt, today is a new day, right GOD? Sunday morning..JOnathan is fixing pannycakes for the family. I am staying out of the kitchen. I see my mound of whole foods up on the counter from here. It's kinda funny. Ava sneaks into my stash and wants to take the fruit. I am pretty possessive of my food cause i don't want to go through it too fast. I hate grocery shopping!

How do I feel? Not too incredibly hungry, but really could eat something now. Pancakes a cookin'! So I feel a bit encouraged this morning. Jonathan woundered if I was going to be cranky the whole time? I had to encourage him and that was hard. But the cycle starts there. He was kind to rub my head this morning. I continually have head aches. I have a bit of sinus pressure with a slight cold. I am congested and achy muscles...probably not from the diet, it's the ab core class, I am certain! My biles are pretty runny. Looks like swollen grape nuts! YUK! I have a rash from going so often. Must be acidic. Now I have to digure what to change to change the PH balance of my biles. OUCH! Goldbond might be helpful. Looking forward to big day with family after church. Abbey's bday! I will document EVERYTHING I ate of course.

snack: potato, pear, 1/2 tbs mayo, 1 tbs olive oil, 1 tbs. balsamic vinegar
Dinner: my first real vegetable juice! 4 Carrots, 2 celery sticks, 1 apple, 1/2 cucumber
Took my Vitamins!!

Prep Day 2- Juice Fast

Last night I had intense dreams. Jonathan had to wake me up. A friend's husband and children were brutally murdered. It was aweful! I rarely have such intense dreams to the point of crying in my sleep. I think that I am worrying. My mind is spinning with the whole diet change, the preperations of it, the kids last week of school, the banking, business, house, family, ect... I plan on starting a more regular workout routine. So far, I only have been working out 2x per week. Starting next week it will be 3, then the following 4x per week.

My bowels are pretty loose and very regular! Woke up twice to go last night! Very sore muscles, but I think that it is from the hard muscle training on Wednesday that I did at the YMCA. I exercised at gym for 45 minutes. Here is my diet today:

Weight: 160

breakfast: apple, vitamins, decaf coffee

TOOK VITAMINS!!

snack: nectarine, plum

lunch: spinach, 2 mushrooms, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, sunflower seeds, 5 cherry tomoatoes, mango

TOOK VITAMINS!

snack: plum, green beans with vinegar

dinner: spinach salad, green beans, mushrooms, corn, 5 cherry tomatoes, sunflower seeds

Reading Bible tonight. God knows all that I'm up against and knows where I am at right now. Thank you God for being so present. Stay near and guard my mind to rid these dreams and thoughts that are so wrong and negative. Protect my loved ones and don't give up on me, please. I know you won't!

Hunker Down- Prep day 1

So today is the first day that I felt was important to document. I am starting the fast on June 1st... (next monday). Suppose I should start eating all raw fruits and veggies a ffew days before to help with the shocker factor. My beginning weight... a wopping 161 pounds! I figure I will do this the simple way. I will document morning weight daily, how I feel, energy levels, any changes that I notice in skin, hair appearence, ect.. and most inportantly document my jiucing so that i know what I am taking in and somebodies got to keep me accountable since I am on my own with this one. Here goes:
